1. Acceptance

By using RootCap ("rooty.org"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

RootCap provides screenshot and file sharing tools. Files are stored in your own Cloudflare R2 bucket. We do not store your files on our servers.

3. Your account

You are responsible for your account and any activity under it. You must provide a valid email address. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use RootCap to store or share illegal content, malware, or content that infringes on others' rights. We reserve the right to disable access to content that violates this policy.

5. Your data

Your files remain in your own R2 bucket. We store only your email, encrypted R2 credentials, and account metadata. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the settings page.

6. Limitation of liability

RootCap is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for any data loss, downtime, or damages arising from use of the service.

7. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
